How many PvP rounds to Hall of Heroes? - Guild Wars Forums

I have won the first round vs 1 other team, and come in a very close 2nd twice in the 5 team battle royale/protect your preists match. How many fights are there to Hall of Heroes? What can I expect to have to do after the second battle?

It's random, dependant on the number of current teams playing I believe. Sometimes you can get there within a couple rounds, sometimes it takes 5 or so. I've heard of people going straight to HoH for their first round. If it's based on the number of current teams, then time of day that you play could be a large factor in how many rounds it will take.

after 8 rounds you are automatically queued for the HoH.

Edit: 8 is the MAX. it is very possible to get there on your first or second round depending on luck and what time you're playing at.

Well durn! And here I thought I might be getting closer to fighting my way there. Getting through 8 rounds to get there would be a real pain if you lost at the actuall hall!

In your opinion what is the best time to go for short fights to hall? I imagine whatever translates into early morning Korea time?

Yeah, it's random. Once I went through three rounds (including the PvE) one before HoH, and another we were sent there directly.

One team I was on won 7 or 8 before the Vault and HoH and we even ended up beating the same team twice on the way there.
